Jesus is Lord!!

This was the message proclaimed by the Jews as Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

Yet, they did not know what would bring them peace. Ezekiel encountered the same problem with those remaining in Jerusalem after it's conquest by Babylon (cpt. 33). In both cases, the people wanted God to change their circumstances so they could live in peace. The result for both of them was the destruction of Jerusalem.

Is Jesus Lord of our hearts, or Lord of our circumstances? Do we sing the songs of "Jesus is Lord", as the exiles did, or is he truly Lord? When you say Jesus is Lord, what do you mean?
