Prepare the Way

J. T. Baptist was a man specifically created and called to prepare the way for the Lord.

His unique life of having ancient parents and being a Nazarite were things that set him apart from the rest of the world, and so for this, among many reasons, he headed out into the wilderness to proclaim the coming of the Lord and repentance. He was willing to diminish so that the Messiah could increase. Are we willing to do the same from the place that God has called us?

John also fulfilled a essential task that he was eminently prepared for -- the consecration of Jesus at the beginning of His ministry. "Now all righteousness was fulfilled" and Jesus was able to begin his official work.

Each one of us has been created for specific good works, and we will find our fulfillment and peace when we let Jesus become greater in our life and world.

God bless,

Pastor Wayne
